In March of 1986 was the turning point in his life, at the age of eight years old he trusted Jesus Christ as his personal Saviour.  By God’s Grace he was raised in a Christian home and when a junior in high school surrendered to the call to preach and serve the Lord in full time ministry.  Knowing God’s desire for his life he was enrolled in a large Bible College and preparing to go when God intervened.  It was through a Chalk Drawing Seminar that God had his path cross a man that is now a dear friend.  From here God used this friendship to open his eyes to the issue of the preservation of the scriptures.  This redirected the goals and ambitions, it was from this event that he now enrolled in Blue Ridge Bible Institute of Valdese, North Carolina under the leadership of Dr. James Lince.  Pastor Wilson graduated in 2001 with a Bachelor of Divinity.

After serving as Associate Pastor in a independent Baptist Church in Louisiana for several years Pastor Wilson felt God’s leading to start a local Bible Believing Baptist work in the Picayune area.

Pastor Wilson and his wife Jamey, have two boys.  Pastor Wilson’s favorite scripture verse is II Timothy 2:15: “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”
